Well, unless you have been living underneath a rock for the past few days you already know that Nicolas Anelka has signed a 3 and a half year deal at Stamford Bridge. I think signing Anelka is a good short-term solution to some of the problems going on with Chelsea, but I just can’t see him sticking around for the long term. He has a bad history and signing him for 15 million pounds is a pretty risky move. There is no doubt he is a very talented striker, but if he starts sulking again, then we’re back to square one. I think Chelsea would be smart to try and find one more striker in the summer, especially if Drogba leaves.
