Liverpool owner Tom Hicks has admitted that he has spoken to Jurgen Klinsmann about the managerial position at the club. Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez’s position has become very unstable and it looks like his days could be numbered. According to the article, if Liverpool failed to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League, then Benitez would’ve been given the sack.
I’ve defended Benitez a lot, but I just don’t think I can defend him anymore. The only thing he has accomplished this season is spending money and creating drama. Torres is a fine player, but for every talented player Benitez signs, he brings in more dead weight. This club is going to need an overhaul, and it all starts with the manager.
