Everton have signed Valencia midfielder Manuel Fernandes on a loan deal for the rest of the season. Much like the Anelka deal, I’m a little skeptical on this one. I question how much Fernandes wants to play for Everton after snubbing them over the summer. He’s a talented young player, but you can’t help but wonder where his head is at. The incident that took place at a night club in Spain can’t help matters, and that could’ve been the final straw that saw him get shipped out. We’ll see soon enough if this deal works out, he can play, it’s all just a question of whether or not David Moyes can keep him out of trouble.
